Who are we? The Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) is located at 730 Mesa Avenue, in Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501. Adventists believe that the Bible was inspired by God and written by the prophets. It is useful for personal faith, inspiration, and to point the way to salvation. We emphasize a healthy lifestyle, and faith in the grace of God. Adventists believe and teach that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Our church has been present in Grand Junction for many years. There also a Christian School. the Intermountain Adventist Academy, (up to 8 grades this year, and up to 10 when there are enough students). At IAA it is our purpose to prepare young people to be successful in their work, in their families, and to have a walk with Jesus that will prepare them for His soon coming!
We also have a Day School, the Little Lambs Learning Center, with the latest in program and facilities. This is a growing success and a real asset to the community.
Our church is a friendly church, there is always a lot going on – more than any one person can fully take in. Thus you will always have a choice. There is a general pot luck noon dinner on one Sabbath of every month, and other potluck dinners for special occasions. The Adventist church has 166 years of experience in vegetarian cooking, and you are invited to attend the church potluck dinner, the third Sabbath noon every month.
Check out our News and Bulletin for news or information about our church or school.
